Our Services and Delivery Model

Pediatric Therapy Services

At SOAR, we provide compassionate, evidence-based pediatric speech-language pathology and occupational therapy services for infants, toddlers, and children. Our therapists partner with families to support development, build independence, and help children thrive at home, in school, and in the community.

We offer services through Early Intervention (birth–3 years) and Outpatient Pediatric Therapy (ages 0–21). Early intervention services are conducted in the family home or daycare setting. Currently, SOAR does not have a brick-and-mortar location. Outpatient services are conducted in the home and community setting depending on location and family needs.

Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Services

Our pediatric speech-language pathologists (SLPs) help children develop communication, language, and feeding skills. Therapy is play-based, family-centered, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs.

Speech and language services may address:

  • Delayed speech or language development

  • Articulation and phonological disorders (speech sound errors)

  • Expressive and receptive language delays

  • Social communication and pragmatic language skills

  • Stuttering and fluency disorders

  • Augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)

  • Feeding and swallowing challenges in infants and children

Therapists work closely with families to provide strategies, home programs, and coaching to support communication during daily routines.

Pediatric Occupational Therapy Services

Our pediatric occupational therapists (OTs) support children in developing the skills needed for daily activities, play, and learning. Occupational therapy focuses on helping children participate successfully in meaningful occupations such as self-care, school tasks, and play.

Occupational therapy services may address:

  • Fine motor skills (grasping, handwriting, cutting, manipulating objects)

  • Sensory processing and self-regulation challenges

  • Visual-motor and hand-eye coordination

  • Gross motor and motor planning difficulties

  • Feeding and oral motor skills

  • Self-care skills such as dressing, toileting, and feeding

  • Adaptive equipment and environmental modifications

Therapists provide hands-on treatment, caregiver education, and individualized home programs to support skill development across settings.
